Chickens have different ways of communicating. They use clucks to show they are happy and comfortable while they use squawks and screams to signify danger.

Did you know that chickens have been found to be able to remember up to 100 different chickens and human faces? They can also remember different areas where they find food and water.

Roosters are the male chickens in a flock. They are usually bigger and have bigger combs and wattles (red fleshy growths on the head and neck) than the female chickens.
